Grilled Rosemary Flank Steak

Grilled Rosemary Flank SteakSteak still gets a bum rap! It’s an awesome source of protein, healthy fats, and important nutrients like Vitamin B12, B3 (Niacin), B6, Iron, Zinc, and Selenium. Then we can talk cuts. The flank steak isn’t exactly the filet. It’s not the Strip. It’s a flank steak. It’s the cut that you can feed a couple of people for a few bucks and a trip to any grocery store. This is one of my favorite ways to prepare the flank steak. Grilled rosemary flank steak is DELICIOUS! Cook it up.

Ingredients for Grilled Rosemary Flank Steak

  • 2/3 lbs flank steak
  • 1 1/2 Tablespoons of olive oil
  • 1 Teaspoon of balsamic vinegar
  • 1 Clove of garlic, crushed
  • 1 Small rosemary sprig, chopped (You can use 1/4 teaspoon of  dried rosemary, but the fresh stuff tastes better.)
  • Pink Himalayan Salt to taste
  • Fresh ground black pepper

Preparing the Grilled Rosemary Flank Steak

  1. Mix the oil, vinegar, garlic, rosemary, salt and pepper, in a mixing bowl
  2. Liberally brush the mixture on the flank steak and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes or let is set refrigerated overnight
  3. Pre-heat your grill
  4. Grill the flank steak for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until it is to your desired temperature
  5. Let the steak rest on a cutting board for 2-3 minutes after you remove it from the grill
  6. Slice the steak and serve

This recipe should serve two people fairly easily.
